                                          Food Drive Initiative (FDI)

Definition

The Food Drive Initiative (FDI) was created to eradicate hunger, malnutrition, and poverty, with a focus on orphans, vulnerable children (OVCs), widows, and street children in Cameroon and across Africa.

Objectives

  • Provide meals and nutritional support to orphans, widows, and homeless individuals.

  • Combat food insecurity in urban and rural communities.

  • Promote sustainable agriculture and economic empowerment.

Key Activities

  1. Direct Food Distribution

    • Annual programs targeting the most vulnerable, including children and widows.

    • Combines health and hunger relief efforts.

  2. Agro-Preneurship Program

    • Trains women and youth in agriculture to achieve long-term food security.

    • Partners with Christina Agricultural Cooperation to scale farming initiatives, improve branding, and secure investments.

  3. Community-Based Solutions

    • Supports small businesses like food restoration ventures for bike riders and low-income earners.

    • Encourages innovative local solutions to hunger.
