1.African Child Initiative (ACI):
The ACI is one of the organization’s main projects. This
initiative pilots Education and Health programs.

African child Education Initiative
(ACE): Encouraging inclusivity, equality, and bridging
educational gaps. The project encourages leadership, and access to quality
education for Orphans, vulnerable children, less privilege and victims of
crisis such as IDPs etc. Programs here includes, Leadup Africa, Back-To-School
charity Fund, Educators Forum for Development, Tech Girls Africa, Young Leaders
Symposium.

African Child Health Initiative
(ACHI): Health has always been and remains to be a
vital part of human existence. Projects initiated and executed under this
initiative aims to promote access to quality health, provide emergency health
response especially during crisis. Reduce death rate during childbearing,
especially for young/teenage girls and untimely pregnancies etc. Projects here
includes, URJENT, RAISE A SMILE
2. Food Drive Initiative: FDI is the initiative under which AVHF, promotes entrepreneurship, women leadership and empowerment. This initiative aims at eradicating poverty, hunger amongst women living in Urban and rural communities.
- African Women Leadership Incubator Program (AWLIP): With ever increasing poverty rate amongst women in Africa, with the very low representation level of women in decision making positions in Africa, the African Women Leadership Incubator Program (AWLIP) is a one-week intensive yearly training program on women empowerment and gender equality by A.V Home Foundation, aimed at enhancing the lives of African women by promoting leadership skills, peace, volunteering and entrepreneurship spirits within the African society. The program usually ends with seed or scaling capital being provided to these women and a follow up scheme put in place to ensure sustainable growth.
- Let’s Empower: The population of under privilege children and youths most times are exempted from the sustainable plan, rather they are considered as hungry hence needs only basic needs. The Let’s empower project is a shift to this ideology. The general objective of this program is to empower young people psychologically/mentally, economically, and create an inclusive space for development. Specifically, we have as goal to empower, educate and counsel young girls and youths between the age of 13 – 25, from orphanages, urban deplorable communities and rural community schools. we are pushing to better understand the fears, priorities and mental disposition of this young people. Teaching them entrepreneurial, creative and management skills.
- RAISE A SMILE: The outbreak of war and crisis around the globe has brought about the need for consistent charity. Raise A Smile is a yearly Charity program with the goal to feed children, widows and homeless people. This program is divided into two, health and hunger. Assisting sickle cell disease patients.
- Agro-preneurs: AVHF believes in the promotion of women and youths into agriculture. She does this through the help of her partner Christina Agricultural Cooperation, who has modelled the Agric Invest project aimed at scaling, branding and investing in agricultural ideas of women, young girls and youths.
3 . Advocacy
Global Voice of Women (GVW): What is equality without advocacy? AVHF, prioritizes gender balance in all spheres hence the Global Voice of Women advocacy campaigns and conference. The project which seeks to put the voice of women at the fore front of all works of life. Encouraging women to be part of leadership and decision making, fight gender base Violence, sexual reproductive rights and all kinds of violence against women and young girls. The Annual Global conference, brings together women from all works from leadership, entrepreneurship, politics, religion, family, education, health etc. Its preparation involves different advocacy and activism activities for women.
– One Woman One Community: As part of the yearly activism of AVHF, One Woman One Community is an advocacy program that advocates for more women in rural communities to be empowered. The philosophy here is women are builders and multipliers. Therefore, for every one woman who is empowered, a community can be elevated from poverty.
- Networks
- Women Entrepreneur Network: It is beautiful to see women who have decided to break all gender barriers and take up leadership responsibilities. the women entrepreneur and leadership initiative is an initiative AVHF to develop a coalition of business, political and social women in Africa. The network which focusses on enabling a safe space for women in business/leadership positions of any kind, while giving opportunities for more women to do exploits and limit traditional jobs tagged only with women. With the birth of O.C.U.S an inclusive yearly entrepreneurship, leadership and empowerment incubator program for Start Ups by COST – ALEAD WEN. Through this platform, we are to help train young people or entrepreneurs venturing into business which has existed between 0-2 years. This becomes very essential as not only do we help establish a solid foundation in ensuring women are having their rightful percentage representations but also, we sensitize other men to become as partners/ he or she advocates to realizing this dream of gender equality, equity and hence an inclusive society for all leaving no one behind.
