Definition
A health initiative focused on raising awareness, providing medical support, and combating stigma for individuals affected by Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) in Cameroon.
Objectives
Educate communities on sickle cell prevention and management.
Provide medical and financial assistance to SCD patients (“warriors”).
Reduce stigma through public sensitization campaigns.

Public Sensitization
School and church-based campaigns on genotype testing.
Workshops with doctors, counselors, and SCD advocates.
Medical Support
Distribution of folic acid (15,000 FCFA per kit, lasts 2 years).
Emergency health funding (20,000 FCFA per warrior for check-ups).
Psychological Support
Counseling sessions for patients and families.
Anti-stigma training for educators and community leaders.
