African Women Leadership Incubation Program

               African Women Leadership Incubator Program (AWLIP)

Definition:
“A one-week intensive yearly training program on women empowerment and gender equality by A.V Home Foundation, aimed at enhancing the lives of African women by promoting leadership skills, peace, volunteering and entrepreneurship spirits within the African society.”

Key Components:

  1. Duration:
    *”5 days program from 27th June – 1st July 2022
  2. Participants:
    “20 women and young girls trained”
  3. Curriculum:
    • “Leadership in Business and Public Administration”
    • “Financial Management”
    • “Digital Marketing and Multiple Streams of Income”
    • “Mental Health and Time Management”
  4. Outcome:
    “The program usually ends with seed or scaling capital being provided to these women and a follow up scheme put in place to ensure sustainable growth.”

2022 Theme:
“Women Economic Leadership for Sustainable Growth”

Documented Impact:
“Participants saw the need of women in leadership positions as a bridge to narrow the societal inequality gap… and enhanced their understanding of technological tools for business.”
